  • Payment information: Billing details processed through our third-party payment providers (Stripe and Square). We do not store your full credit card number.
  • Content: Swing videos, lesson notes, messages, and emails you create or upload
  • Communications: Messages you send through the platform and emails sent to clients

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use our platform, we automatically collect:

  • Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and actions taken
  • Device information: Browser type, operating system, and device type
  • Log data: IP address, access times, and referring URLs
  • Location data: General location based on IP address (used for weather features)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our platform and services
  • Process transactions and send related information (confirmations, invoices, payment reminders)
  • Facilitate communication between Professionals and their Clients
  • Send appointment reminders and notifications you have opted into
  • Provide weather forecasts and dashboard features
  • Generate analytics and reports for Professional accounts (e.g., revenue trends, client activity)
  • Respond to support requests and communicate with you about your account
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

3.1 Between Professionals and Clients

When a Client is associated with a Professional, relevant information is shared between them to facilitate the teaching relationship. This includes appointment details, lesson notes, videos, and messages.

3.2 Service Providers

We share information with third-party service providers who help us operate the platform:

  • Supabase: Database hosting and authentication
  • Stripe and Square: Payment processing
  • Resend: Transactional email delivery
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS): Video file storage
  • Vercel: Application hosting

3.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

3.4 Business Transfers

If Profect Golf is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.

4. Data Storage and Security

4.1 Storage

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase (PostgreSQL database) and AWS (video files). Data is stored in the United States.

4.2 Security Measures

We implement security measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL)
  • Row Level Security (RLS) policies on all database tables
  • Authentication via Supabase Auth with secure session management
  • Service-role access controls for sensitive operations
  • Regular security reviews of access policies

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

4.3 Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., resolving disputes, enforcing agreements).

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Essential cookies: Maintain your authentication session and remember your preferences (e.g., dark mode)

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. 8. Third-Party Services

Our platform integrates with third-party services that have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review their policies:

  • Supabase: Authentication and database services
  • Stripe: Subscription payment processing
  • Square: Client payment processing and gift certificate payments

  • AWS S3: Video file storage
  • Google OAuth: Optional sign-in method
